I have gained a very sound knowledge in the field of Instrumentation , during which time I accrued invaluable experience in a variety of plant surroundings , including : Petro Chem Plants , in an onshore environment ,Gas Turbine / Compressor installations. I am fully conversant in all aspects of Instrumentation installation , commissioning and maintenance procedures , including E.S.D. Systems , Fire and Gas protection systems , various analyser units , most makes of electronic and pneumatic instruments including Flow , Level , Temperature and Pressure . The vast majority of the above mentioned instrumentation has been carried out in a Hazardous Area environment .

I have obtained experience on a wide variety of equipment and types of plant applications including Coal fired Boilers, Steam turbine generators, and Petro-chemical process, Oil & Gas production facilities both On and Offshore. During my career I have established a sound knowledge in calibration, installation, and commissioning techniques incorporating pressure, Flow, Temperature and Level measurement. I am fully conversant with ESD systems, Fire and Gas systems and Analogue Data control systems, for monitoring and controlling of plant variables. This includes Gas and condensate Allocation and fiscal metering systems.

I have been working within the field of electrical engineering for 35 years, all aspects of electrical draughting & design work have been undertaken, from Printed Circuit Boards to Processing Plants within all types of industries from Domestic Appliances, Building Services, Marine, Hospitals, Aviation Industries, ROV (Sub-Sea), Switchgear & Motor, Fabrication, Horticulture Machinery to Petro Chem. I am able to work within a team, self motivated & able to work with little or no supervision. Also work well under pressure. Onshore & offshore survey work also undertaken. I am computer literate & can undertake all type of tasks from simple word processing, spreadsheets, databases to design work utilising AutoCAD & MicroStation.

Responsible for all maintenance, mechanical, instrument, electrical and civil of the    Refinery Off-Plot facilities which comprised of all Tankaged, Jetty, Buildings, Sulphur recovery plant and 200Km pipeline to Auckland. Main duties were to manage a multi-discipline workforce that ensured  the Off-plot facilities were maintained at an optimum level which enabled operations to achieve their production targets safely and efficiently. I was also responsible for all plant changes, training, reoccurring maintenance problems and plant improvements.
